PE Central : This web-site is an excellent resource for physical educators. It includes links to helpful and valuable resources located on the Internet. There are assessment ideas, lesson ideas, instructional resources, pre-school ideas, instructional resources and many more ideas teachers can use to be more successful. There is also an entire section devoted to adapted physical education that defines disabilities and provides instructional strategies to implement in the classroom. This web-site is perhaps one of the best physical education resources on the Internet!!!

PE Zone : PE Zone is a resource for teachers and educators interested in promoting health, physical education, and wellness. Most of the routines, activities, and lesson plans on this site have been developed by undergraduate physical education students at the University of Central Florida. The areas included are Dance & Rhythms, Games, Gymnastics, Physical Education & Sports Curriculum Pages, Health Curriculum Pages, and Homemade Equipment. The most developed area of this site is the Dance & Rhythms section, which includes short video clips of routines.

New York State Education Department - Physical Education Home Page : This web site contains downloadable publications of the New York State Learning Standards for Health, Physical Education, Family, and Consumer Sciences, Adapted Physical Education information, coaching requirements, and regulations of the commissioner of education. All publications are in Adobe Acrobat format (.pdf).

National Association for Sport and Physical Education (NASPE) : NASPE is a division of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance (AAHPERD). This site contains the national physical education standards, newsletters, and position and resource papers that are useful sources of information for all physical educators. There are also links to AAHPERD and the other divisions of their organization.

PE Digest: Physical Education Digest is a quarterly e-magazine that provides the latest ideas, tips, coaching cues and research on sports, fitness and physical education topics from around the world - condensed into brief, easy-to-understand articles that you can really use. Each issue represents the best information selected from hundreds of pages of original material. It's quick and easy to read, and very practical. Teach your students/athletes - or become more skilled yourself!

Fitnessgram:  Fitnessgram is the fitness test used in Mohonasen's high school physical education classes.  This site contains a program overview, interesting facts, charts, reference guides, facts for parents, and other helpful information for teachers, parents, and students to utilize.
