Classroom

· Manners; Please, Thank you, You’re welcome…no meanness

· One person out to the restroom at a time; Start of class and/or between activities are good times to ask. Students who abuse the privilege will not be granted time in class and will have to make especially good use of passing time.

· The “Teacher Corner” is my space. Ask before touching or using anything (I’ll show the same respect to you)

Academics

· NO late Homework; Unless you were absent there are no exceptions.

· Writing assignments (counted as homework, class work, or a test grade) -10 points if late.

· Projects: If handed in AFTER due date, may be subject to significantly more points off over time. (example: -10 one week late, -25 two weeks late, -50 later still etc.)

· Reading is due on the date it is assigned to be due – homework DYRT questions and/or DYRT quiz will be graded to hold students accountable.

· Quarter grades will close on an announced date (may be prior to the school calendar close of quarter dates when necessary). All make up work must be handed in before the grade book closes.

Procedures

· Journaling/Do Now starts each class period. Be prepared; please participate.

· 10^th period Log – Sign in if you’re staying

· All papers handed in TO ME directly. If my fingerprints aren’t on the paper when you hand it in, it’s not handed in, nor am I responsible for it.
