Ms. Von's 9th Grade Global History

Welcome!

The New School Year Begins 2011 -2012

             Welcome to Ms Von Stetina's 9th grade Global History Class.  This is the first year of a two year course in Global History. This year we will begin with the study of earliest man and end our studies in the late 18th century. This is a vast amount of history so it is important that students come to class prepared and ready to learn.

 

Materials needed for class:

• Three ring binder

• paper

• pen and pencil

• package of small index cards

 

Grading Policy:

Homework, quizzes, tests and projects will be assigned points. For example, a homework assignment may be valued at 5 points while a unit test or quiz will be worth the number of questions asked. Projects will have the highest value (50-100 points) because they should reflect a students best work.
