Course registration a success!
Individual student conferences are now underway.
Course registration at the high school took place November 18-21. Students met with teachers, saw department presentations and had an opportunity to find out about courses offered throughout the school. The next step in the scheduling process is for counselors to begin meeting with students to finalize choices and get other valuable information regarding their futures. We encourage you to talk with your child about their choices as well as access the links below to see more about the scheduling process, the course of study guide and some of the other information that was handed out to your child.
Sophomore conferences are being held during December and January.
The
10th Grade Info Sheet (PDF) was handed out during scheduling.
The following are the handouts given out during Sophomore
Conferences:
Junior Conferences will be held during February and March. The Junior Tri-fold was given out during scheduling.
Freshman Conferences will be held during April and May.

Scored less than 65 on a required Regents exam? Know the schedule of required retakes
All of the five required Regents exams are offered annually in January, June and August, so there are multiple opportunities for students to get extra help and then retake the exams to improve their grades. Find out about Mohonasen's very specific schedule of required retakes for each of the five mandatory Regents exams. Students and parents alike need to pay careful attention to this schedule since it may jeopardize graduation if students have not shown persistence and effort at re-taking these critical exams. Mohonasen High School students should feel free to contact their high school counselor any time they have questions or need assistance. Appointments should be made through the secretaries who work in the Counseling and Career Center office. Students are also encouraged to visit the waiting area of the Counseling and Career Center to get all kinds of useful information such as local job openings, college catalogs, scholarship applications, SAT test dates and more.
