more than 3,500 two- and four-year colleges. Choose from among 800
features to create a profile of your ideal college and, in seconds,
get a list of colleges that fit the bill. The site also includes the
CSS Profile required by many private institutions when considering
students for financial aid and the entire text of the latest edition
of The College Handbook and lets you complete and submit admission
applications online.

NCAA Clearinghouse

If you are planning on participating in intercollegiate athletics,
you may need to register wtih the NCAA Clearinghouse in order to
participate.

This site claims to be "the number one portal for applying to a
college over the web." CollegeNET also offers a searchable database
of colleges, scholarship opportunities and academic resources. It
offers a comprehensive college/university index with some
interesting resources for financial aid and scholarships.

By combining a database of 3,300 two- and four-year colleges with
multimedia tours, College View gives students and parents a general
overview of a college, plus a direct email option for requesting
additional information.
College Xpress

the college admissions process. This site also lets you estimate
your costs, locate scholarships and discover loan information.

This website provides information on getting into college, the
financial aid process, explains different kinds of educational
loans, recommends timelines for juniors and seniors and provides
information and insights on a host of other topics. There is also a
free newsletter students can sign up to receive.
FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)

All colleges require students to submit a FAFSA form from the
federal government to be considered for any financial aid. (The form
should be submitted between January 1 and Feb. 15 of a student's
senior year.) The federal government's FAFSA Web site provides
worksheets and help with filling out this extremely important form.

link to sign up for your personal pin number (direct link at
