Clothing and Textiles
This course will aid students in
understanding the principles of clothing and textile construction.
It will provide knowledge of impressions made by
personal appearance, history of fashion, care selection, and
maintenance of clothing. This course relates to careers in fashion,
textiles, and art. Course includes field trip to fabric store to buy
materials for projects. Projects may include designing and creating
pajama pants and tote bags.

Fees: Buy material for two projects ($50-$60)
* May be taken with Housing and Environment to fulfill one unit art
requirement.
