How to help a friend

If your friend is having minor problems with friends, family, relationships: Give support, listen, spend time, do fun things.

If your friend is having major life problems with things, such as drinking, drug use, family issues, the death of a loved one, etc.: Encourage them to get help. Use one of the above resources.

If your friend ever talks of suicide or being harmed by someone: Act immediately. Tell a trusted adult as soon as possible. Use the above resources.
