District Enrollment

Mohonasen's total enrollment was 3,153 students in grades K-12. (This includes students placed in private schools, charter schools and BOCES programs for handicapped students outside the district.)

School Enrollment

  • Bradt Primary School: 592 students in grades K-2

  • Pinewood Intermediate School: 681 students in grades 3-5

  • Draper Middle School: 749 students in grades 6-8

  • Mohonasen High School: 1,131 students in grades 9-12

Students Receiving Special Education Services

The district provides support to 413 students or approximately 10% of the student population through special education and related services. There are 40 students who receive intensive support through "skills development" classes. The remainder are mainstreamed and receive consultant, resource or related support services. Another 30 students attend special education programs through BOCES or at private schools.

Class Sizes

Elementary class sizes are as follows:

  • 17 students in the average kindergarten class

  • 22 students in the average class for grades 1-5
