Intramurals

Intramurals will begin on Tuesday, October 4th!

 

Who: 

All students are welcome to attend and participate providing they are polite, respectful and follow the directions.

 

What:

Intramurals provide an opportunity for students to stay after school and participate in a physical activity. 

   

The activities offered vary session by session and they are open to all Draper Middle School students.

 

Students are NOT required to sign-up for or pre-schedule an intramural. 

 

When:

Intramurals are offered from 2:10 - 2:50.  Any student arriving later than 2:15 will not be admitted. 

*Tuesday Intramurals - All Draper students are welcome.  Late bus provided.

*Wednesday Intramurals - 7th and 8th grade students only.  No transportation provided.

*Thursday Intramurals - 6th grade students only.  Late bus provided. 

 

Where:

Intramurals can take place in the gym, outside, or even at the pool. The location depends on the activity offered.

 

Can an intramural count as a make-up?

If a student would like to make-up a Physical Education class, when staying after school for an intramural, he or she must remember to fill out a "PE Make-Up" sheet and turn it in to the teacher in charge of that session. This sheet serves as attendance verification.
