We are always reading, so be sure to have your independent free reading book with you every day. This is the same book you read and record in your reading log and write about in your reading response journal.

In class, I am reading aloud the mystery book Skeleton Creek by Patrick Carmen. It is written in a journal format and incorporates short video clips by one of the characters on their mystery findings. You can find out more about this book by visiting scholastic.com/skeletoncreek.
