Welcome to Spanish 1A!

This course is the first half of LEVEL ONE of the high school course. At the end of this course, you will be able to tell others  about yourself  including your likes and dislikes and even talk about your friends!

 

The following are the classroom's rules that you should follow to be successful in Spanish:
1. All school/team rules apply- refer to school handbook and team rules sheet.
2. Absolutely NO GUM CHEWING or food/candy (How can you speak clearly otherwise?)
3. You must pay CLOSE ATTENTION in class. In a foreign language class each new thing builds upon the last.
4. If absent, you must get class work and/or homework from your telephone partner, and/or Señora Breen's  HOMEWORK LINK.
5. Come prepared to learn and have fun!                                                                                                           6. Study by practicing saying aloud all vocabulary words for at least 15 minutes each day.

All quarterly grades are based upon the following:
40% Participation
20% Tests
20% Projects
10% Quizzes
10% Homework
