Special Areas at Draper Middle School
Draper Guidance Department -- Meet/email our three guidance counselors and learn about the many programs offered by our Guidance Dept. to help each student achieve academic, social and personal SUCCESS!
Draper Library -- One of the most comprehensive sub-sites on the Mohonasen Web, you'll find all kinds of help with research projects -- from searching for topics to formatting your bibliography. Our grade level links are designed to help students do effective research on particular units. And be sure to check out the "reading assistance" link to help you find great books, books on a particular topic, books by a certain author and more.
School Resource Officers -- Did you know Draper Middle School has a Rotterdam Police Officer assigned to the school full-time? Learn about the role of the SRO and check out all the useful information posted specifically for students -- and parents -- at Draper Middle School!
Technology Integration -- In this age of geometric growth in information, there is a real need to develop children who can collect and organize information and construct new meaning through reasoning. The goal of technology integration at Mohonasen is to enable meaningful problem solving through the use of technology. Building computer use proficiencies, communication and reasoning skill, and positive attitudes toward use of the computer are components to this end. While this section of our Web is designed for teachers, parents can also use many of the great resources found within to keep learning going strong while their children are at home!
