Class of 2012 8th grade - remember your challenge! NO STUDENTS IN SUMMER SCHOOL for the 8th grade class. There will be a party as promised!
Congratulations to Brendon Seney for winning the school wide spelling bee.
Students start to save your old jeans to donate to "Jeans for Teens". Boxes will be set-up on Wed. 2/1 in the lobby to collect the jeans. Any student bringing in a pair of jeans will be awarded a coupon for 25% to Aeropostale. Listen to morning announcements for further details. Collection will run till 2/12.We need your support to help other teens out.
If you still have a pedometer from the 1st round of the PE PEP Grant testing, please bring it to Mr. Hallberg; please be on the lookout for lost pedometers. Any student who finds a lost pedometer can turn it in at the main office and you will receive a reward!! Thanks for being on the lookout!
There will be an important Student Counsel meeting on Thursday 2/9 at 2:15 in room 203. Valentine's Day Candy sale and March Madness will be discussed. All members should plan to attend.
We are collecting children's picture books for donations to Albany Medical Center for premature babies! This will support a project by 2 students in the HS. Please bring gently used or new picture books to the boxes in the lobby.
Any 6th and 7th graders interested in getting a head start in learning Spanish. Do you want to be ahead of your peers in 8th grade? Do you want to win prizes, candy? If so, join the HS's Spanish Society members in their fun Spanish games and activities in room 21 10th period, Tuesday 2/14. There is a sign up sheet in the main office.
