  District Administrators/Supervisors – Conceptual/Programmatic discussions regarding budget (DCR)

• December 5, 2011
  Tax Levy Cap Community Presentation, 7 p.m.

• December 19, 2011
  Budget Packets due to Assistant Superintendent for Business
  

• January 19, 2012
  Directors & Principals meet to discuss final budget priorities and focus K-12 (DCR)

• Jan. 30, 2012: Budget Forum, 6:30 p.m.

• March 1, 2012: Deadline to submit information to calculate the Tax levy Limit on the Office of State Comptroller's website

• March 5, 2012, 6:30 p.m.
  BOE Meeting/Budget Presentation: General Support, Operations & Maintenance, Transportation, Athletics & Co-Curricular Activities/Clubs

• March 7, 2012: Budget Forum, 6:30 p.m.

• March 19, 2012, 6:30 p.m.
  BOE Meeting/Budget Presentation: BOCES, Special Education, Employee Benefits, Guidance, Health/Nurse Services
  
  Adoption of Special Propositions for Budget in order to be published in Notice of Annual Meeting on 3/30, 4/13, 4/27, 5/11 (at least four times, forty-five days prior to budget vote.)
  
  BOE election petitions available.

• March 31, 2012
  Deadline to Advertise first legal notice publication of date, time and location of Budget Hearing and Budget Vote.

• April 2, 2012, 6:30 p.m.
  BOE Meeting/Budget Presentation: Instruction, Revenue, Budget Recap

• April 16, 2012
  Deadline for filing Board Candidate Petitions – 5:00 PM (30 days prior to vote)

• April 20, 2012
  Deadline for 2012-2013 budget adoption and adoption of Property Tax Report Card

• April 23, 2012
  Deadline to Submit Property Tax Report Card to the State Department of Education

• April 24-May 1, 2012
  Budget document and notice postcard made available to public (at least 14 days prior to vote and 7 days prior to Budget Hearing).

• May 7, 2012
  Budget Hearing and Meet the Candidates Night, 6 p.m.

• May 8, 2012
  Budget Notice to Qualified Voters of school district mailed (no later than six (6) days prior to vote)
  Deadline (3:00pm) for receiving application for Absentee Ballots if Ballot is to be mailed to voter (at least 7 days prior to budget vote)

• Tuesday, May 15, 2012
  UNIFORM BUDGET VOTE DAY – DISTRICT ANNUAL MEETING & ELECTION, 7:00am to 9:00pm/High School
  Deadline (5:00pm) for receipt of all Absentee Ballots in order to be counted in the election vote.

• May 21, 2012
  7:00PM Board of Education Meeting – Regular: Acceptance of Results of Election of May 17, 2011
