The Flat Stanley Project

Mrs. Dennis' class has been participating in The Flat Stanley project this year, and we have been traveling around the world!
 
Flat Stanley

Flat Stanley is the story of a little boy named Stanley who suddenly becomes flat when a bulletin board falls on him while he is sleeping. Stanley discovers that he can do some very interesting things now that he is flat that he couldn't do before! One of our favorite parts of the book is when Stanley squeezes into an envelope, and mails himself to California to visit a friend!

Our class has made flat versions of ourselves, and we will be mailing our flat people to many interesting places around the world! They will visit schools in other states and countries, and then will be mailed back to us with completed journal entries about their stay. 
Soon other flat people will be sent to visit other states in our country, such as Alaska, Hawaii, Pennsylvania, and many other places around the world! Recently, our flat friends travelled to Antarctica with our PE teacher, Mrs. DeVito, as you can see in the picture below.
