Mohonasen is forced to close schools or dismiss students
early due to inclement weather or other emergency
conditions, that information is reported here. Emergency
closing information is also released to local TV and
radio stations. See "Planning

Please
note,
television stations sometimes report Mohonasen
closings or delays under "M" for Mohonasen OR
"R" for Rotterdam-Mohonasen (the legal name of
the district). We regret the confusion, but suggest you
watch for announcements under both names.
