AT THE MIDDLE SCHOOL AND ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS --At the Middle school, students may charge any combination of meals up to a value of $3.50. At the elementary level, students may charge up to a value of $4.50. No snacks or ala carte items may be charged.

In the event that a student forgets his/her money again after they have reached their charge limit, the student will be required to call their parent or guardian to inform them of the charges incurred. Students will then be given a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, fruit and milk at no charge until daily charges are paid.

All students are given a confidential pin number in September. Charges incurred to the account will be sent home on an account-balance card via the student. A reoccurring delinquent account will receive a letter sent by mail to the parent and/or guardian informing them of the reoccurring negative balance, along with a free and reduced lunch application to be completed and returned as needed.

Payment will be accepted by the school-cafeteria cashier in either check or cash form. Checks may also be mailed directly to the School Lunch Program in the Business Office. Once cash or check is received, the negative balance will be adjusted and the student will be allowed to charge again, according to the stated procedures.
